So I’m sort of crash-dieting my way through this week, and I’m loosely using the Weight Watchers approach. We’ve estimated that I have about 20 points to use everyday— plus a couple extra because I exercise at night— and each food I eat is a certain number of points. How do I find these points, you may ask… good question. Here’s a link to a WW Points Calculator. Feel free to use it on whatever you’re eating right now. And then, feel bad.
Just so you don’t feel AS bad about yourself, here’s what I’ve eaten today and their points values:
pack of baby carrots: 0 points
7 grain honey wheat bagel (dry): 7 points
banana: 2 points
gaspacho: 2 points
marble frosted donut (because I couldn’t help myself): 5 points
2 medium coffees with skim milk and Splenda: 2 points
Total points so far: 18. That leaves me 2 points for the rest of my day… I’ll exercise when I get home, which will bring my total usable points up to 22… Oy.
